Hospital Accreditation

The University Medical Center Freiburg is a state medical educational insitution acting in accordance with the federal state of Baden-Württemberg regulations.

In 2005 the University Medical Center Freiburg became one of the few Univeristy hospitals to earn Cooperation for Transparency and Quality in Health Care (KTQ®) Certification. KTQ® is a German standard of quality in health care. The University Medical Center Freiburg was successfully recertified in 2008 and 2011.
