Our specialization is the treatment of skin cancer, melanoma and other malignant and benign tumors, skin allergies, mucous membranes and psoriasis. All skin diseases can be diagnosed in our Department and the application of scientifically proven treatments in compliance with world standards are utilized."

Skin diseases are very common diverse in terms of their clinical presentation. Skin changes may represent an outer reflection of a given pathology of visceral organs, the central nervous system and the endocrine system. Therefore fundamental knowledge of the skin is essential in the everyday work of any doctor regardless of his or her specialty.
Highly qualified specialist-dermatologists perform operative treatments, medical and laser treatments and ultraviolet therapy in modern operating and therapy rooms. Recurrent inflammatory skin diseases such as neurodermitis and psoriasis require careful treatment as they are related to immune disorders. The department has extensive experience in light therapies and topical multimodal treatment regimes for these diseases.
Photodynamic treatment with exposure to red light, exposed to specific areas with skin cancer, is a treatment that has been proven safe for patients.
With the help of tests, dermatologists will define your reactivity to allergens and develop an optimal therapeutic program. Our goal is that you will be able to once again enjoy the fresh air, be around house pets and not have to worry about potential allergic reactions.
Our Department extensively uses multimodal methods of dermatological intensive treatment. Specialists apply special ointments and prescribe the course of treatment procedures optimized for each patient, depending on his or her skin type and disease. After this ointment application, the patient is wrapped in special dressings to achieve the desired effect. Each treatment can, upon request, be organized on an in-patient or out-patient basis.
An initial complete examination is recommended should you have varicose veins or thrombosis. The doctors examine superficial veins and provide either conservative or operative treatment.
Large skin transplantations for patients with large wound areas or where scarring has occurred, is performed in our Department.
A modern laser is a unique method for removing cancer neoplasms from the skin. This method can also be used for the removal of warts, hair, tattoos and facial scars.
Scientists in the modern and fully equipped laboratories of the Department of Dermatology conduct research in fields such as hereditary skin diseases, wound healing, fibrosis and scar formation, allergies, autoimmune skin diseases, dermatoimmunology and phytotherapy developments.
The technical facilities of our diagnostic and treatment unit and operating rooms equipped with state of the art devices, combined with our highly qualified personnel, guarantee the quality and success of treatments given and thereby attract more and more patients from all over the world.
