In recent years, scientists of the gynaecological clinic have conducted a number of interesting research projects in the field of polymorphism diagnostics. A model of transplanting ovarian tissues was developed on test animals: scientists took the ovarian tissue, cryopreserved it, and then transplanted the heterotope to the abdominal wall. The purpose of this model was to improve the chances of treatment of cancer of the ovaries, as well as to preserve the endogenous function of the ovaries after radiation treatment.
