Division of Pediatric Cardiology conducts extensive scientific research in collobaration with the Cardiovascular Center.

Research is presently being conducted in the fields of cardio-MRI, effect and safety of preventive treatment with ACE—inhibitor (Enalapril) and Beta-Blocker (Metoprolol-succinat) on the onset of left Ventricular Dysfunction in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophie, Electrocardiography-Triggered CT Angiography of the Thoracic Great Vessels in Pediatric Patients with Congenital Heart Disease, Willebrand – factor function in aortic stenosis, Strain- and Strain Rate- Echocardiography.
