As one of the largest university centers for diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapy in Europe, we employ more than 250 physicians, research specialists and technical assistants who exclusively work with the most modern radiology equipment. Our specialists share a passion for medical excellence, patient safety, and individual service.
As a central facility of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, we offer our outpatients and inpatients a comprehensive range of radiological services for diagnostic care and minimally invasive treatment at the highest level.
We provide state-of-the-art imaging and image-guided technologies, including latest CT and MR scanner generations, hybrid imaging, and interventional facilities for wide spectrum of diseases affecting the entire body. Our Department is certified according to the highest standards of diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Accreditation
Our department is accredited by the German Roentgen Society as a center for Cardiovascular Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Prostate-MRI. Also, we are certified by the German Society of Interventional Radiology/ Neuroradiology Level 1 and 2 (DeGIR) and serve an official educational site of the DeGIR.
We are proud to be recognized by Siemens Healthineers as a European Reference Center for Cardiovascular Care.
