The Medical Center – University of Freiburg has been ranked fourth in the "Focus Clinic List 2024" published by the renowned German magazine "FOCUS Gesundheit".

The Medical Center – University of Freiburg has maintained its position in the top four for the second year in a row and is the leader of the Baden-Württemberg Hospital Ranking. The Medical Center's achievements in the treatment of leukemia, stroke and lung cancer are particularly noteworthy.

"The high ranking reflects our commitment to providing every patient with high-quality medical services and access to state-of-the-art technology. The rankings are based on an analysis of data from the quality assurance reports of all 1,643 German public hospitals and their 14,447 specialized clinics.

Information on the range of services offered, the frequency of certain procedures, technical equipment, the number of staff in relation to the number of patients, patient surveys as well as recommendations from private physicians and other medical institutions were taken into account in the evaluation of the hospitals.
