Minimally Invasive Pain Therapy: TAPE
Chronic pain can now be treated with TAPE (Transarterial Periarticular Embolization), a minimally invasive procedure performed under X-ray guidance. TAPE targets the tiny blood vessels causing inflammation and pain, reducing discomfort, improving mobility, and speeding recovery — all without surgery.
How it works:
A thin catheter delivers a temporary, targeted embolization agent to the affected vessels under local anesthesia. Most patients stay 1–2 days and can then start physical therapy. The procedure can be repeated if needed.
