Professor Dr. Dr. Heinz Wiendl is one of Germany’s leading neurologists and a specialist with extensive international clinical and scientific experience. His work focuses on the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system, with particular expertise in neuroimmunology, neuroinflammatory disorders, neuro-oncology, and modern immunotherapeutic approaches.

Professor Wiendl received his education and completed his clinical and scientific training at leading medical centers in Germany, Switzerland, the United States, and Australia. This international background enables him to integrate advanced approaches from global neurology into his clinical practice and adapt them to the individual needs of each patient.

Research & Innovation

Professor Wiendl’s scientific work is dedicated to the study of neuroinflammatory processes and the role of the immune system in multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases of the nervous system. He also investigates mechanisms of neuronal damage and neurodegeneration, and develops biomarkers for more accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment selection.
