Training
for Nurses and Technical Assistants
Purpose of the program: Train nurses and technical assistants to upgrade their qualifications
Term of the training: 2 weeks and more
The program includes:
- Tailored training program according to the request of nurses/technical assistant or the medical institution
- A series of lectures and workshops based on the topic
- Participation during operations, daily patients round, specialized conferences, outpatient consultation-hours
- Participation in the department educational program, arranged for the nurses or technical assistants
- Program coordination by a senior nurse and an English-speaking employee of International Medical Services
- Weekly consultations with the deputy chief nurse of the department
Candidate qualifications:
- Three years (minimum) professional work experience
- Very advanced German language skills (C1 level) or payment for interpreter services
Program fees: from 4.500 € per week / per person (not included are interpreter services, board and lodging costs)

- Lecture about the Medical Center – University of Freiburg
- Department tour
- Participation during operations, daily patients round, specialized interdisciplinary conferences, outpatient consultation-hours
Candidate qualifications:
- Very advanced German language skills (C1 level)
Program fees: from 1.500 € per week / per person (not included are interpreter services, board and lodging costs)
Master classes are conducted as visiting lectures on site with the customer or via teleconferences. Contracting medical institution determines the content, approximate amount of hours and provides information about the educational level of the audience
Purpose of the program:
- Train nurses and technical assistants to upgrade the qualifications
- Teaching of the medical students
Term of the training: by agreement
Number of Participants: no limitations
The program includes:
- A finalized plan and content of seminars in accordance with requests of medical institution
- Selecting qualified lectures from the Medical Center – University of Freiburg, Academy for medical professions or from regional partner medical institutions
- Preparation of Power-Point slides
- Translation of Power-Point slides
- Interpreter services during a teleseminar and technical support by German partners
