Neurological check-up by Multiple Sclerosis includes:
- Consultation with an experienced specialist in neuroimmunology (medical history; differential diagnostics; selection of required medical tests)
EEG (electroencephalogram) - Transcranial Doppler ultrasound
- Ultrasound and color flow doppler of the arteries in the neck and blood vessels in the brain
- Multimodal gait analysis and functional testing
- Neuropsychological assessment
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with advanced imaging biomarkers regarding individual risk assessment and evaluation of progression (CVS, PRL, BRL) with and without contrast agents
- Immunophenotyping and biomarker guided assessment including Lumbar puncture with assessment of oligoclonal bands and FLC, flow cytometry
- Differential diagnosis of other neuroinflammatory conditions via antibody testing and integrated analysis of available results
- Dedicated immunophenotyping and biomarker testing for individualized evaluation of prognosis and choice of treatment
- Electromyography and evoked potential tests
- Optical coherence tomography (OCT) for convenient non-invasive diagnostics and assessment of disease state
- Counseling regarding specific issues (family planning, pregnancy, comorbidities, other autoimmune diseases, treatment de-escalation, de-risking of immunotherapy, vaccination)
- Summary provided by the doctor, discussion of the examination’s results, elaboration of the medical recommendations.
