Pediatric / Child-oriented Imaging

Our mission as part of the University Children’s Clinic Freiburg is to provide diagnostic imaging services for infants and children of the highest level.

We offer the entire spectrum of imaging:

digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, CT, and MRI.

All of our faculty and staff are specifically trained in the care of pediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on state-of-the-art imaging of children, while minimizing burden, such as radiation exposure or long exams. Our specialists work closely with other pediatric specialists to provide comprehensive care for children.

In the new Pediatric Clinics, we run two MRI scanners at 1,5 and 3 Tesla, dedicated to pediatric patients.
